Saxophonist / Vocalist / Producer

PatrickLamb

A double threat in the truest sense — soul-drenched saxophone, powerhouse vocals — saxophonist to the legends and stages from the White House to Java Jazz, from Billboard's charts to his induction in the Oregon Music Hall of Fame. Plaintive ballad or festival close, the IT factor is a constant.

A Note About the Artist

The Cannonball saxophone goes everywhere he does. But the heart behind the horn is what everyone comes to see.

Patrick Lamb is a saxophonist, vocalist, bandleader, and producer — a singer and a horn player in one performer. A night with Patrick moves from soul saxophone into dance-floor originals in the vein of Bruno Mars, Earth Wind & Fire, and The Gap Band, and on into the hits from his own catalog.

He came up the right way. Handpicked by Smokey Robinson, Bobby Caldwell, Gino Vannelli, and two-time Grammy winner Diane Schuur. Section leader for Vannelli. A long run with Caldwell. A Diane Schuur tour that still follows him around. When he stepped out front as a solo artist, he started his own label and landed three Top Five Billboard hits, with singles spinning worldwide on SiriusXM Watercolors.

NEA Jazz Master Todd Barkan calls him “one of the most uplifting and deeply expressive saxophonists in the world today.” Dave Koz called the record “a wonderful album… his time has come.” Patrick is a three-time Muddy Award winner, an inductee of the Oregon Music Hall of Fame, and a recipient of the Spirit of Portland Award and the Yolanda King Drum Major Award.

He lives in Palm Beach, Florida and works worldwide. His stages include the lighting of the National Christmas Tree at the White House, the Kennedy Center, sold-out symphony nights with the Oregon Symphony, Java Jazz in Jakarta, and marquee listening rooms from Blue Note Napa to Blues Alley. He's shared bills with Alice Cooper, KISS, Robby Krieger of The Doors, Sebastian Bach, and Danny Seraphine of Chicago. He leads a world-class band, and has produced or curated more than 300 signature concerts and international artists for five-star resorts.
