The White House
Peace on Earth Celebration and the lighting of the National Christmas Tree.
A double threat in the truest sense — soul-drenched saxophone, powerhouse vocals — saxophonist to the legends and stages from the White House to Java Jazz, from Billboard's charts to his induction in the Oregon Music Hall of Fame. Plaintive ballad or festival close, the IT factor is a constant.
After being handpicked by some of the biggest names in music, Patrick Lamb is now front and center with his own sound.
“It's all music—we're in the happiness business.”Patrick Lamb
Patrick Lamb is one of the most electrifying breakout artists on the international stage — handpicked to tour with Smokey Robinson, Bobby Caldwell, Gino Vannelli, and two-time Grammy winner Diane Schuur before stepping forward as a powerhouse solo artist with three Top Five Billboard hits to his name.
His newest single, “Horizon Line” — his first fully self-produced release — was added to SiriusXM Watercolors out of the gate and went Most Added on Billboard Radio, signaling a bold new chapter for an artist whose momentum refuses to slow down.
Patrick's reach is uncommonly wide. Beyond the world of jazz and R&B, he's shared the stage with Alice Cooper, KISS, Robby Krieger, Sebastian Bach, and Danny Seraphine of Chicago — a versatility that has carried him to festival stages around the globe, including Java Jazz, Blues Alley, Humphreys, Berks, Newport Beach, Vanport, and the Goldcoast Jazz Festival, where his high-energy shows leave audiences on their feet.
The honors have followed the music. Patrick is a three-time Muddy Award winner (Cascade Blues Association), an Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductee, and the recipient of the Spirit of Portland Award and the Yolanda King Drum Major Award — recognizing both his artistry and his service to the community.
The artists who know the craft best say it plainly
With three Billboard hits behind him, a self-produced single climbing the charts, and a stage presence that pulls audiences out of their seats from the first note, Patrick Lamb stands among today's must-see live performers.
“Horizon Line”—a high-octane powerhouse produced by Michael Broening, the man behind twenty-seven Number One Billboard hits.
The lineup is pure elite, featuring industry legends Mel Brown on bass and Freddie Fox on guitar, all mixed to perfection by the iconic Steve Hall.
As Broening himself puts it: “This is a winner.” On January 26th, the trajectory changes. Always evolving, always reaching for a bold new horizon — Patrick Lamb delivers his most ambitious work yet. The wait is over: “Horizon Line” is here.

"A voice that lands like Motown and a horn that lives downtown. Patrick Lamb doesn't entertain a room — he programs one."
One of the best instrumentalists I've ever worked with…
Patrick Lamb is one of the most powerfully uplifting and deeply expressive and swinging saxophonists in the world today. He raises the roof and melts our hearts.
This was the first time I saw Patrick — I was amazed. He's definitely one of the brightest new breakout artists on the scene. He had the whole place up dancing. The next Boney James.
Generous, talented and smart — Patrick Lamb is Portland's ‘renaissance man.’
